  1. Although this certainly isn’t a new trend. Women have outnumbered men in higher education for 3 decades. Another interesting topic is that many believe that women have been better at adjusting to the shift in job types over the last several decades – women seem to have excelled at the type of jobs available today (office jobs in which communication, concentration are necessary) more than men, while blue collar jobs, in which men have excelled over women, are declining.
